Learn to recognize these migraine symptoms.

• An ‘aura’ – numbness, visual disturbances, dizziness, ringing in the ear, weakness on one side of the body – during onset
• Throbbing or pulsing pain, usually on one side of the head
• Sensitivity to light, smells and noise
• Perspiration and/or chills
• Nausea and/or vomiting
• Residual head pain in the affected side and exhaustion during the post-headache stage

If you have experienced any or all of these symptoms, you should talk to your doctor about the possibility that you are suffering from migraine headaches, and find out how best to treat them.
